Family Reading Night

Pine Valley Elementary School held their first ever Family Reading
Night. The theme for the evening was "B. E. A. R. – Be Excited
About Reading!"
Parents and students participated in several reading related activities such as a book walk, a book swap, taking AR quizzes and much more. Grade level activities were available for preschool through second grade. Students were also able to show their book baits and young author books. There were representatives from the Public Library and the school nurse was giving vision screenings.
Launch the media gallery 2 playerEveryone enjoyed fresh baked cookies while they visited. At the end of the evening there were drawings for gift cards from a local book store. It was a huge success!
